-4668Hi my name is Kristen Smith, in 2004 I started teaching piano. As I was working with many of my students I began to search for educational games and manipulatives to keep piano lessons fun for every child.  I wanted my students to look forward to what we were going to do each week. I also wanted the games to be simple enough to play in individual lessons and teach specific theory skills.  I began searching online for resources; though I found a few excellent ideas and games, I  quickly found that I needed more.  Also, I wanted some of the games to be focused on more advanced theory concepts since many of my older students still wanted to play a game each week but were ready to move on to harder theory concepts.  As soon as I graduated with my bachelors in 2009 I began learning how to design my own games.  I quickly found a new hobby in designing games and resources for my students. All of the games on this sight were specifically designed with a student(s) in mind.  Every game has been tested with my students, so you can be sure it works. 99% of the games were designed for two players but many games can also be used in a group setting if desired.   If you are looking for a game that drills/teaches a particular concept and can’t find what you need send me an email and I would be happy to see how I can help.  Need a game modified?  Let me know and I would be happy to help.
